The Russian foreign minister stressed the great existing potentials for Russian-German cooperation, especially in the economic sphere.
In this regard, he highlighted the significant increase in the volume of reciprocal trade compared to 2019 and 2020.
According to Lavrov, the solution of the differences between both countries would contribute to the expansion of cooperation in such promising areas such as health care, climate protection, energy efficiency, the development of renewable energies sources, hydrogen technologies and the environment.
For her part, Baerbock said that Berlin wants to have stable relations with Moscow and claimed that the German government is willing to work to maintain them.
The German foreign minister spoke about the deep historic dimension of Russian-German relations, so she said laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier was very important.
