Latorkai, a deputy from the Christian Democratic People’s Party, spoke about the strengthening of bilateral relations after the recent visits paid by Cuban delegations to this capital and the signing of agreements on several spheres.
This lawmaker, who is a mechanical engineer, mentioned his positive experience with young Cuban people who studied in this European nation during the years he worked as a professor at the Technological University of Budapest, between 1976 and 1992.
This Hungarian parliamentary leader said that his country contributed to Cuba’s development by professionally training Cuban students.
During her visit to the Assembly, Corredera also met with deputy Monica Barto, president of the Group of Friendship with Latin America at the Hungarian Parliament and vice president of her country’s Group at the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
Barto highlighted the work carried out by the Latin American ambassadors accredited in Hungary and wished the Cuban diplomat, who will end her mission in this country soon, success in the future.
