According to data published by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), one person died on Thursday, so the death toll rose to 8,353.
With this figure, the lethality rate in Cuba is 0.83 percent, much lower than 1.68 in the world and 1.97 in the Americas.
So far, 33,607 patients have been hospitalized, including 16,055 who are suspected cases, 229 who are under epidemiological surveillance and 17,313 who are confirmed with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
Of the confirmed cases, 17,266 have a stable clinical evolution and 18 are critical and 29 are severely ill and are being treated in intensive care units.
With today’s figures, Cuba accumulates 1,015,203 Covid-19 cases since March 11, 2020.
