Mexican president said will is to guarantee transformation

Mexico, Jan 24 (Prensa Latina) Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador on Monday revealed that he has drawn up a will to guarantee the fulfillment of the 4th Transformation in this country, in case of his death.

When reporters asked him about this at his morning press briefing, the president said that, after undergoing a cardiac catheterization due to an old condition caused by a heart attack about a decade ago, the doctors said he was doing very well.

I am very well, and if people decide on April 10 that I should remain president, I will be there for the fulfillment of the 4th Transformation. He added that Mexicans are making history.

He said that the process of change will be consolidated, and as Chilean singer Violeta Parra put it, he thanked life for giving him so much and to all Mexicans, even his opponents, because when it comes to his health, they have shown solidarity and sincere expressions of affection.

To show he is feeling well, he announced he will attend the supervision of the Mayan Train to Tabasco, Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.

When resuming the issue of the will, he admitted his announcement brought about concern, but he has the responsibility to act foreseeing everything, especially because he had to undergo a cardiac catheterization.

If I die, I seek continuity of the process of transformation to prevent ungovernability, so that things run smoothly without affecting the country’s development, by guaranteeing stability and for the common project we started to move forward, he said.
