According to the National Emergency System, 10,045 new contagions were confirmed in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of active patients to 75,781 in the country’s 19 departments.

During the day, 17 patients died, while 123 remain in intensive care units.

MSP sources indicated that in the second year of the Nursing Degree, students obtain the intermediate degree of auxiliary which enables them to work under supervision.

The dean of the School of Nursing, Mercedes Perez, told El Pais newspaper that Minister Daniel Salinas told them at a meeting that there is “a complex situation in terms of assistance” in the outpatient area of the primary care level.
