I have pointed out that the greatest challenge of the Cuban Economic Development Plan until 2030 is how to advance in that purpose.
The mechanism that we have identified for this, I have pointed out, is through the development of macro programs, projects, which implies a design of those issues that are most important for the structural institutional transformation and the strategic advance of the nation.
As part of the meeting’s work agenda, the Minister of Economy and Planning updated on the role of innovation in the six existing macro programs in the country.
These emerged as an instrument to manage the implementation of the National Economic and Social Development Plan, and each of them coincides with one of its strategic axes. So far, he said, 28 programs and 107 projects have been designed.
