So far, it reports in its morning update, 306,920 people have lost their lives from severe complications of Covid-19, but the number of positive cases between yesterday and today has not yet been released. The official report points out that from January 16 to 22, a 28% decrease in the number of affected patients was registered, while hospitalization decreased two points in general beds and one in those with mechanical ventilator, so that today’s occupancy is 45% and 30%, respectively.

The report adds that the estimated number of active cases was 223,958, which represents 4.3% of those who have had Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic in the country in February 2020.

Regarding the National Vaccination Plan, the agency informed that 311,179 doses against the coronavirus were applied yesterday. Of the 83,651,266 people who have received any of the biologicals, 94% have already received the full schedule.
