Cuba pavilion draws public attention at Expo 2020 Dubai

Abu Dhabi, Feb 9 (Prensa Latina) The Cuba pavilion at the Expo 2020 Dubai received today the president of the "New 7 Wonders" foundation, Bernard Weber, who saw the rolling of Cuban cigars by cigar roller Virginia Vega.

Weber recalled the important work carried out by Eusebio Leal during the nomination and voting campaign that awarded the official title of Wonder City of the Modern World to Havana City, in 2016, the Cuban embassy in Dubai stressed on Wednesday.

The high representative of the foundation was received by the Cuban ambassador and Commissioner General at Expo 2020, Roberto Blanco, and the directors of the pavilion Milena Perez and Alberto Lopez.

Webwer was accompanied by Jean-Paul de la Fuente, director of “New 7 Wonders”, and Mariana Fried, its executive coordinator.

Also in attendance were members of the Cuban pavilion, the Cuban mission in the United Arab Emirates and the directors of the Henry Reeve Brigade of internationalist doctors of the island in the country.
