The chief of the Health Department in Badghis, Asif Qanat, informed that the city hospital received one dead and 15 injured from the incident.

Qanat warned that one of the injured is in a critical condition and among the remaining casualties are three children.

So far, the police have not disclosed details to explain whether it was an attack on the religious facility, and no organization has claimed responsibility for the incident.
