“I send an embrace full of sentiment and much affection to the Venezuelan people. Brothers, Sisters! Let’s continue promoting unity, peace, understanding and solidarity that have characterized us to achieve the greatest happiness for all,” the Head of State affirmed in Twitter.

Maduro attached to his publicaction a video that shows expressions of love among the Venezuelan people.

In the audiovisual material, he expresses that “Men and women are capable of giving everything out of love for their neighbors, for the community. Every day, all that emotion, all that passion is what moves us, it is a very deep feeling of love for Venezuela, of love for our people”.

He also pointed out that the most significant aspect in life is to be loyal to oneself and honest with the cause one defends. We will continue to win, with love, struggle and perseverance.

In Venezuela, as in many parts of the world, the Day of Love and Friendship is celebrated every February 14, a day that highlights the importance of friendship among co-workers, schoolmates, neighbors, friends, and family.
