The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) called to follow on the hashtags @Siempreconcuba (AlwaysWithCuba) on Facebook and YouTube, on the traditional Solidarity vs. Blockade, which was presented in a new format at 09:00 hours, local time.
Patricia Ares, doctor in Psychological Sciences, who was part of the drafting commission of the new Family Code, which is currently in the process of popular consultation until April, participated in it.
At the suggestion of ICAP followers, there was also be an interactive space on @Siempreconcuba on Twitter at the same time, which proposed to continue the debate on the subject.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has repeatedly denounced that Washington’s current measures against Havana affect the people inhabitants by preventing the regular and institutional flow of remittances, hindering the process of family reunification and hitting the private sector in the nation.
“No one should be indifferent to a genocidal policy aimed at causing hunger and despair to an entire people (…) The global clamor is clear and unanimous: #EliminaElBloqueo,” the minister recently tweeted.
This call is another expression of solidarity by friends and Cubans living abroad against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US.
