Cuba: 89 percent of population receives complete Covid-19 vaccination

Havana, Feb 18 (Prensa Latina) Some 9,862,067 Cubans (89 percent of the country's population) are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported on Thursday.

According to the MINSAP website, 10,594,300 people have received one dose of the domestically grown vaccines, 9,363,782 have already been administered the second dose, and 9,40,205 have received the third dose.

Cuba has administered 34,775,103 doses of Covid19-vaccines with its homegrown products. They are Soberana 02, Soberana Plus and Abdala.

According to Cuba’s National Statistics and Information Office, the country’s population was about 11.18 inhabitant in late 2020.
