According to the Cuban Embassy in China, this is an important effort that will allow it to continue expanding information in Mandarin about the island and its bilateral relations with Beijing.
The headquarters recalled that Toutiao was created in 2012, is owned by the company ByteDance and is one of the main news applications with more than 100 million daily active followers.
That network “uses the recommendation mechanism to analyze users’ reading habits and then generate for them a personalized feed list that includes articles, videos or ads.”
It also processes the characteristics of the content as well as the interaction of customers to offer them a reading list of personalized topics.
The embassy is also present on Weibo, known here as the Twitter look-alike.
