According to the report, a patrol from the Federal Security Service (FSB) detected the penetration of the commando near the town of Mitiakinskaya, in the Rostov region, on the Russian border with the neighboring country at around 06:00 hours, local time.

The report from the Southern Military District indicated that five members of the sabotage group were killed as a result of clashes, and no members of the Russian military forces and border troops were killed or injured.

Moreover, two infantry combat vehicles from the Ukrainian Armed Forces penetrated Russia to urgently evacuate the reconnaissance and sabotage group, but were destroyed by the Russian forces.

On Monday, Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, Alexey Danilov, said that his country did not bomb the station of the Russian border guards in the Rostov region.

Previously, the FSB denounced that a missile launched from Ukraine hit a station of Russian border guards in the Rostov region.
