On Twitter, the head of Venezuelan diplomacy reported about a meeting held with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, within the framework of the Forum of Gas Exporting Countries, with headquarters in Doha, Qatar.

“During this meeting we signed, together with the Iranian Minister of Petroleum, Javad Owji, an important Memorandum of Understanding aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation and our exchanges, mainly in the area of hydrocarbons”, the Foreign Affairs Minister, said.

He added that the parties agreed to intensify common efforts in all areas to counter the illegal and arbitrary unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States against both nations.
