Under the conduction of Maestro Guido Lopez Gavilan, artists Liliana Serrano, Yilian Concepcion, William Matos, Manuel de la Cruz and Jenny Peña will evoke iconic compositions by Astor Piazzolla (Argentina), Johann Sebastian Bach (German) and Antonio Vivaldi (Italy).

According to the ensemble, the Basilica Menor de San Francisco de Asis will host a striking program that includes the cycle of Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, as well as Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins in D minor and Vivaldi’s Spring.

The Musica Eterna Chamber Orchestra, founded by Lopez-Gavilan in 1995, combines the talent of students and graduates from the Higher Institute of Art, now the University of the Arts, who are in charge of proposing shows inspired by popular and classical Latin American songs.

Musica Eterna has performed in Cuba, Canada, Spain, Colombia and the United States, where it performed at the prestigious Jordan Hall in Boston and was highly acclaimed by the audience and critics.
