He said that he is very pleased that tge former Brazil president is in Mexico, where he arrived on Monday and has had several activities in the country, according to the Foreign Ministry, which informed that the Mexican president is going to meet with Lula on Wednesday.

He revealed that Lula is going to stay several days in Mexico, but at the same time, he stated that his government has good relations with that of president Joao Bolsonaro and that Mexico is very respectful with the countries and that with Brazil they have no differences.

He insisted that he is very pleased with Lula’s visit because, he said, he is a politician admired in Latin America and the world, and, furthermore, we receive him with respect and admiration because he was the victim of an authoritarian, repressive act, they fabricated a crime and unjustly put him in jail.

Lopez Obrador admitted that he sympathizes with Lula, mainly with what he represents, and rejected the persecution of social and political leaders who fight in favor of the people, as the conservatives and oligarchs do.
