The organization´s spokeswoman, Shabia Mantoo, confirmed the dinamic work to respond to the displacement emergency, which is more evident in Poland, Hungary, Moldavia, Romania and Slovakia, all have borders with Ukraine.
UNHC urged all nations to maintain the borders open to allow the displacement of Ukrainians as well as other nationalities´ people who have also been caught up in the conflict.
On the other hand, the Un warned on the significant number of refugees in Russia, mostly people from the Donbass region.
According to Russian authorities, more than 100,000 people crossed its border through eastern Ukraine.
