The number of patients admitted decreased to 7,164, and 4,833 are suspected cases, 56 are under epidemiological surveillance and 2,275 are active (183 fewer than on the previous day), according to the daily report released by the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap).

Authorities discharged 654 patients, so 1,059,900 patients (99 percent of all those confirmed) have been confirmed cured.

Cuba has accumulated 1,070,730 Covid-19 contagions since March 11, 2020, and the total number of deaths as a result of the pandemic reached 8,496.
