The official highlighted China’s solidarity and its support to fight Covid-19, as well as the unbreakable bonds of friendship that unite both nations.

She also noted the commitment of President Nicolas Maduro and the Bolivarian Government with the people’s health, especially in the battle against the pandemic.

“Our call will always be to take care of ourselves, we also received medical and surgical material that will help our compatriots in the health sector and all our medical personnel to continue taking care of themselves,” she pointed out.

Venezuela and China maintain a close relationship in the fields of health care and the economy, and Beijing’s support has been essential to fight Covid-19 and the limitations imposed by the United States blockade, according to Venezuelan authorities.

Over the last two years, China has sent several shipments of medicines, vaccines and supplies to Venezuela.
