Ms. Murillo alluded to the Patria Grande (Great Homeland) term, used by Hugo Chávez in his TV program Hello President, on August 6, 2009: “It is time to reach eternal victory, the revolution of independence and also build the Great and United Motherland of Latin America and the Caribbean”.
According to Ms. Murillo, “This Nicaragua that loves him (Hugo Chavez), deeply thanks him for all his generosity, greatly celebrates his example and legacy.”
Plus, at the Managua Old Center, a huge luminous and multicolored Chávez, a two-metal plates monument covered with LED lights, opens one of the main avenues in Managua, as a tribute to the Bolivarian Revolution leader.
