Cairo and Bogota chambers of commerce boost economic ties

Cairo, Mar 9 (Prensa Latina) The Cairo Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the aim of boosting the bilateral economic cooperation, the Egyptian press announced on Wednesday.

Mena news agency stated that the MoU also seeks to enhance joint trade, industry and investment between Egypt and Colombia.

According to the source, the deputy chairpersons of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce of Bogota, Sameh Zaki and Maria Monica, respectively, signed the document.

The two sides agreed to exchange economic and trade information, as well as to hold virtual meetings to discuss several initiatives of common interest, the source highlighted.
