The government makes the greatest effort to guarantee Syrian citizens´ basic needs, but the US and European blockade affects all daily life aspects and blocks people´s return to their homes, Syrian diplomacy head said.

He called on IMO to prioritize that humanitarian aid reaches its beneficiaries, comply with the humanitarian work principals and avoid the politicization in this context.

On the other hand, Ambrosi called for the reactivation of the cooperation between IMO and the Syrian government and expressed the organization´s intention to maintain a mutual trust and cooperation atmosphere.

According to figures announced by the authorities, the joint work between Russia and Syria contributed to 2,325,000 displaced people´s return to their homes.
