The explosion of the artifact occurred in the al-Ammour mountain range in the desert area of al-Badieh, and also injured five regulars.
They reported that the soldiers were carrying out combing and cleaning operations against remnants of the Islamic State terrorist group (Daesh in Arabic).
Hundreds of soldiers and civilians have been killed in the past few years due to bombs and mines planted by radicals on the streets, houses, and farmlands in order to curb the advance of the Syrian army.
Due to Daesh’s growing activities in Al-Badieh, the Syrian army had to increase its operations to prevent the resurgence of this radical organization.
According to Damascus’continuous reports, the Pentagon is recycling Daesh terrorists and offering them logistical support, protection and intelligence to attack the Syrian army and its allies and civilian communities in the vast desert of this Arab nation.
