The Spanish-language TV station announced its adherence to the call “expressing its repudiation of blockades and sanctions imposed by the United States against independent countries.”
The initiative has been promoted by the Europe for Cuba movement since January with the objective of taking actions of solidarity with Cuba and denouncing the unilateral sanctions imposed by the United States since 1962 against the Caribbean nation.
Media and political organizations from several countries will participate in this call, scheduled for April 2 and 3, for 24 uninterrupted hours of broadcasts rejecting Washington’s blockade, on radio, television, written press and social networks.
HispanTV confirmed that it will analyze the blockades that Washington continues applying against developing nations, which also suffer from media manipulation by Western-aligned conglomerates.
Among the examples, the channel mentioned in a special way the case of Iran, which despite suffocating actions has made significant progress in all aspects and two spaces for analysis and opinion will be dedicated to reflecting on this reality.
The Behind the Reason program will add the voices of experts on the subject to examine “in detail” all the cases of the unilateral blockade by the United States against other countries, in particular the case of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
