According to the MINSAP update, 7,245 patients are in hospitals or at home, 4,571 of whom are suspected cases, 30 people are under epidemiological surveillance and 2,644 are active cases.

Some 2,630 of the latter have a stable clinical evolution, whereas seven are in a critical condition and seven are seriously ill.

Cuba has reported 1,077,966 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country two years ago.

No deaths were reported on Tuesday, so Cuba has reported 8,503 Covid-19 deaths since 2020, so the lethality rate stands at 0.79 percent compared to 1.32 percent in the world and 1.78 in the Americas.
