In the conversation between leaders of the member States of the United Kingdom’s Joint Expeditionary Force, the head of State drew attention on the contradictory statements of the military alliance regarding the possible accession of his country.

“For years they would tell us about the supposedly open doors, but we also heard that we can’t get in, it’s true, you have to admit it,” he commented.

According to Zelensky, Kiev does not aspire to the activation of Article 5 of the NATO treaty on collective defense at the moment, although he considered that the Ukrainian sky must also be protected.

He called on the West to increase supplies of military equipment to Ukraine, and pointed out that the country needs new forms of cooperation and individual security guarantees.

On March 10, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that his country wants the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, as well as Turkey and neighboring countries, to provide security guarantees to Kiev.
