Kim Jong Un visited the construction site for the construction of housing units for 10,000 family units in Songsin and Songhwa, which is about to be inaugurated.

Kim assessed the panorama of the central avenue as very spectacular, and expressed satisfaction that the idea of architectural aesthetics planned for the site has been exactly fulfilled.

The North Korean leader instructed to sustainably increase the number of builders on a nationwide scale by generalizing valuable experience and acquired skills and taking active measures to accelerate the speed of construction.

This is a strong demonstration of the correctness of the Party’s idea of architectural aesthetics, the potentiality of the indigenous independent economy and the irresistible power of the monolithic unity between the Party and the masses, he said.

Kim also said that the construction sector should continue to pay close attention to the creation of an educated environment, including green areas of the city, focusing on the improvement of the urban ecosystem.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) notes that housing for 10,000 family units is about to be completed under the first year of the capital’s ambitious Five-Year Plan for construction.

The future residents of the region are expected to cut the inauguration ribbon with their own hands on Sun Day (April 15).
