Cuba has administered over 35.2 million Covid-19 vaccines

Havana, Mar 19 (Prensa Latina) A total of 35,218,760 doses of vaccines against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19, have been administered in Cuba, where 89.4% of the population has been fully vaccinated, the Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday.

According to this ministry’s website, 10,623,250 Cubans have received a shot of homegrown vaccines. Some 9,385,371 people have been administered the second dose, and 9,066,069 have received the third one, according to the national vaccination plan.

Some 9,900,934 people have been fully vaccinated, that is, 89.4 percent of Cuban population.

According to the National Statistics Office, Cuba had a population of 11,180,000 inhabitants in late 2020.
