A total of nine Russian soldiers were exchanged by the Mayor of the Ukrainian city of Melitopol, Ivan Fiodovor, an official reported in statements to RT TV channel.

Regarding the exchanged Russian military, she explained that some of them were part of a list made by her office on the basis of information received.

Earlier, Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, informed about the prisoners exchange.
