Cuba’s Molecular Biology laboratories tested 11,227 samples to detect the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

Generally speaking, of all 3,433 active cases, 3,415 patients have a stable clinical evolution, and 18 remain in intensive care units, including five in critical condition and 13 who are seriously ill.

The total number of recovered patients rose to 1,071,691, after 712 people were clinical discharged, and 1,083,691 cases have been reported since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.

The total death toll is 8,508.
