It adds that the deaths reported in the last 24 hours are 158 for an accumulated total of 322,277 since March 2020.

The technical report assures that the estimated number of active infected persons is 11,222 among Mexico’s 127 million inhabitants, and represents 0,2% of the total number of confirmed cases to date, since the beginning of the pandemic.

Regarding hospital occupancy, it reported an increase of 1% point in general beds, to 8,0% of the total, while ventilator beds for critically ill patients remained unchanged at 5,0%.

Regarding the update of the National Vaccination Strategy, he reported that 197,446 doses were applied yesterday, for a total of 189,83,111 units applied.

To date, he concluded, 85,5 million people have been immunized, of which 79,5 million have completed their vaccination schedule with two or three doses, while 59 million have at least one dose.
