Speaking to TASS news agency today, he pointed out that the White House does not understand neither the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, nor the decision-making mechanism, nor the work style of the country´s leadership.
“It is not only a pity, but also it is a manner of concern because such a complete lack of understanding only leads to wrong decisions, hasty decisions that have very bad consequences”, Peskov said making reference to recent statements by Washington´s senior officials.
US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, stated that among Putin´s advisors there are no people that tell him the truth, while the White House´s Communications Director Kate Bedingfield assured that Russian Armed Forces command misleads the head of State, which is why tensions with the military have arisen.
Peskov commented on March 29 that the dialogue between Russia and the United States is necessary despite the personal insults of US President Joe Biden against his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
The head of the Kremlin press office pointed out that communication between Moscow and Washington is not only important for their respective countries, but has to do with the interests of the whole world.
He warned that “sooner or later,” the parties will have to discuss strategic security issues again, issues which, he said, can only be discussed by Russia and the United States.
