The meeting, in which 219 delegates will participate, will address aspects related to the implementation of the ideas, concepts and guidelines of the 8th Congress of the PCC held last year.
According to the report presented to the assembly, in this last stage the provincial bureau of the Party has prioritized the development of food production, based on the potential of the agricultural sector and its direct relation with the materialization of the Food Sovereignty Plan.
The document also points out that it is a great urgency to adjust the work of the organization to the needs and concerns of the members of the Young Communist League and the youth universe in general.
Likewise, the participants will discuss the ideological work, the policy of cadres, the process of intervention and transformation of vulnerable neighborhoods, among other issues.
This is the eighth provincial party meeting to be held in the country, after those held in Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, Matanzas, Sancti Spiritus and Ciego de Avila.
