“We have lost 972 of our citizens since the beginning of this year, including 780 law enforcement officers and 192 civilians. Just in the last week we lost 82 civilians. Unfortunately, these figures increase daily”, the Office said.

According to this office, a total of 4,452 people were wounded among civilians and military, TASS news agency reported.

The conflict´s escalation between Kiev and the Donbass region rose from February 17 with the worsening of the bombings of that territory with heavy weapons.

By Febraury 18, the People´s Republics of Donetsk and Luhansk´ leaders denounced the events and called on their residents to go to Russia. Likewise, they also declared the general mobilization of all the people to face the aggression.
