Through a video, its general secretary, Jaime Caycedo, expressed that this political force “joins the world mobilization, via Internet, via networks, in solidarity with Cuba and in demand for the immediate end of the U.S. blockade against the Island of Freedom.”

The leader said that the party considers that the aggression is not only military because imperialism uses other tools that directly affect the peoples of Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

” In this opportunity we are calling for the end of this infamous blockade against the Cuban Revolution so that Cuba and its people can enjoy, all the advantages of socialism and the free society they have built”, expressed Cyacedo and invited through the networks to participate in this campaign.

The global media marathon against the blockade is an initiative of the Europe for Cuba Channel and the Latin American and Caribbean Continental Network of Solidarity, and supported by numerous organizations at the international level.

Under the tags #VamosConTodo and #CubaVive, Twitter and Facebook users joined this call that began yesterday and ends today.
