More than 40 businesspeople from both nations attended the Argentina-Chile Public-Private Meeting, Productive Linkages and Bilateral Economic Complementation for International Insertion at the headquarters of this country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting, Cafiero stressed its importance to boost a fundamental sphere of the ties between both States and favored strengthening the existing relations.
This is a moment to share experiences, trajectories and visualize opportunities. Those talks will allow to create new cooperation, exchange and fraternal mechanisms, he said.
He also highlighted the fact that Boric chose Argentina to pay his first visit as head of State, which he considered a starting point for relaunching bilateral relations. Therefore, we are also building a new Latin America, he argued.
For his part, the Chilean president said that both nations intend to foster development, justice, equality and a better redistribution of wealth.
Consequently, we must involve different social sectors. We believe that it is possible to start a collaboration and stability cycle based on multilateralism and productive development with a transversal gender approach focused on environmental protection, he said.
