It noted that the shipment arrived on Tuesday morning at the Algerian Houari Boumedienne International Airport, from where it will be transferred to its final destination in the Sahrawi territory.

Cuban Ambassador to Algeria Armando Vergara Bueno and Cheikh M’Hamed, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the SADR Embassy in Algiers, who expressed his compatriots’ gratitude to the Cuban people for this gesture of solidarity, were present at the airport to receive the donation.

Ambassador Vergara recalled the traditional ties of friendship and solidarity between Cuba and the Sahrawi people in their struggle to achieve their independence from Morocco.
