On Twitter, the Cuban Foreign Ministry celebrated this historic event and ratified the desire to strengthen cooperation between both nations.

The Finland-Cuba Friendship Association has denounced the repercussions of the United States economic, financial and commercial blockade against Cuba at international organizations.

It also called on Finnish members of the European Parliament to support a petition for the European Parliament and the European Union to take a stand against the blockade.
