“We are pleased to know that every day more Nicaraguans have the universal right of water access, improving their living conditions through a continuous service (…)”, CABEI´s executive president, Dante Mossi, expressed.

In this regard, Mossi made reference to the financing here of five initiatives in the water sector with investments that surpass the 571 million dollars, which benefit almost two million people.

According to official sources, besides improving and expanding water and sewerage services, the initiative also reinforces the company´s operational capacity in this sector, through the establishment of six regional centers of immediate attention.

According to the CABEI, as part of Phase I of the Pisash program, three wastewater treatment plants and five pumping stations were built, as well as the rehabilitation and construction of 15,326 drinking water connections and 5,144 sanitary sewer connections.

The CEBEi executes in Nicaragua several social benefit projects, which are carried out in the poorest zones of this nation.
