The foreign guests´ list includes singer-songwriter Ricardo Cocciante, fashion designer Nino Lettieri and composer Gatto Panceri, author of the song Vivo por ella; as well as artists Sonia Mazza, Rossella Zitiello and Sara Scognamiglio, all from Italy.
The event´s organizers, which involves the Empresa de Grabaciones y Ediciones Musicales (Egrem), the Ministry of Culture and the Cuban Institute of Music, confirmed the presence of Spanish performer Pilar Boyero and Mexican Samuel Casteli, winner of the talent show La Academia.
Boyero, who is also a teacher and presenter from Spain, defined herself as an eternal lover of Cuba’s music and people; she alluded to the rhythms emanating from the Caribbean roots and idiosyncrasy and recalled her collaboration with singer Omara Portuondo and Buena Fe band.
According to Boyero, her presentation this Tuesday as part of the inaugural program at the Hotel Nacional will feature the collaboration of the island’s pianist Alejandro Falcón and, in her opinion, Cuba is a home where she always finds beauty, joy and sincerity.
Other foreign figures joining this proposal are fashion designer Dayán Naziri and Michele Curto, president of the Agency for Cultural and Economic Exchange with Cuba, who said at a press conference the meeting´s value as a space for the development of young performers.
