The tourists arrived on board the second private megayacht of this season and will visit tourist and cultural places in the third village founded in Cuba and Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of Sugar Mills), a UNESCO cultural heritage site.

The yacht, which was built at the Flyghtship shipyards, in Auckland (New Zealand) in 2007, is sailing under the flag of the Cayman Islands and was designed to accommodate up to 10 people in five double cabins.

According to Jose Lorenzo, regional director of Transportation, the yacht docked in an inlet port certified last year by the Cuban Vessel Registry, which guarantees conditions for anchorage.

The Te Manu private megayacht docked in this inlet in December 2021, following Cuba’s reopening of its borders, after not sailing for nearly two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
