The president arrived at the Jorge Newbery International Airport at about 10:30 hours, local time. After laying a floral wreath at the Monument to General Juana Azurduy, at Plaza del Correo, President Arce will be received by his Argentinian counterpart, Alberto Fernandez, with whom he will talk about bilateral relations and energy projects.
According to the press office of the Presidency, the heads of State will participate in the signing of a Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding between Bolivia’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Argentina’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation for the Integration in Evaporite and Lithium Resources.
Meanwhile, Arce and Fernandez will discuss scientific and technical collaboration, gas commercialization and an electrical interconnection between Yaguacua, Bolivia, and Tartagal, in the Argentinian province of Salta.
During his visit to Argentina, the Bolivian head of State will receive the Honoris Causa title from the Metropolitan University for Education and Labour and will meet with members of the Organization of Relatives of the Disappeared and Detained for Political Reasons and the Mothers and Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo Association.
