Angola, India inked three new agreements

Luanda, Apr 8 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Angola and India signed Friday three legal instruments aimed at strengthening exchanges and the level of cooperation between both states.

The parties inked an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic, official and service passports, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) announced in a press release in Luanda.

Both ministries of Health will also sign a memorandum of understanding, and both countries will sign a document to strengthen ties between the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy and the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service, attached to the respective foreign ministries.

As a prelude, the Indian ambassador here, Pratibha Parkar, and Angolan Foreign Minister, Téte António, met on Thursday at the MIREX headquarters in Luanda.

This meeting served to extend to Minister António the invitation from the president of the Raisina Dialogue Observer and Research Foundation to speak at the seventh edition of Raisina Dialogue, which will be held in New Delhi from April 25 to 27.
