At an annual assessment meeting, attended by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, the executives analyzed the sector’s results and deficiencies in 2021.
According to the Presidency’s Twitter account, the Minjus assessed the improvement of human resources management, the attention to processes that ensure compliance with the Legislative Schedule and the computerization strategy, particularly its impact on the quality of notary and registry services.
According to the report presented by Minister of Justice Oscar Silvera, the Ministry still has to resolve the insufficiency of some specialists and assistants in technical performance and in the attention to the population.
Deputy Minister Pilar Varona noted that the improvement of human resources mainstreams other work projections.
“The better trained our staff is, the better they will deal with other processes,” she assured.
During the meeting, the jurists emphasized that material resources are not necessary to attend to the population with ethics and sensitivity.
In this regard, participants insisted on the commitment and respect that must prevail in daily management, especially when setting an example for young people.
The meeting was also attended by provincial directors of Justice, legal consultancies, specialized law firms and budgeted units from all over the country.
