The Defense Ministry spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, reported that the attacks hit two control points, nine strongholds and 59 areas of concentration of Ukrainian military equipment.

Moscow’s air defense forces shot down two Mi-8 and Mi-24 military helicopters and five drones of the enemy troops.

Since the beginning of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, its forces have destroyed 421 unmanned aerial vehicles, 223 multiple rocket launcher systems, as well as 2,019 tanks and other armored vehicles.

A total of 1,917 units of special military vehicles and 874 pieces of field artillery pieces and mortars have been also eliminated.

Russia launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24, after the authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic requested help to repel the increase in aggression and the heavy air strikes from Kiev.
