Ethiopia has several historical and natural attractions, and its government´s ongoing eforts to expand tourism destinations would help improve this sector, Owino stated in an interview reported by several media oulets.

The blue economy, part of and compatible with the green economy, considers the seas and oceans as engines of growth and innovation for sensible and efficient economic progress, while reserving the aquatic ecosystem´s health.

Africa is rich in marine resorces that can be used to boost theregion´s economies and so far Kenya, which borders the Indian Ocean to the east, is one of the African countries with the best experiences in the sector.
