Russia’s Defense Ministry: 78 Ukrainian military targets destroyed

Moscow, Apr 11 (Prensa Latina) Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported its aviation destroyed 78 Ukrainian military targets last night, including three short-range anti-aircraft missile system positions and four ammunition depots.

The spokesman for the Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, added that three command posts, a lighting and target detection radar, as well as 58 bases of operations and war matériel staging areas were also eliminated.

In total, since the start of the operation in Ukraine, Russian forces have annihilated 129 aircraft, 99 helicopters, 243 S-300, Buk-M1 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as 441 drones, 2,079 tanks and other armored vehicles.

239 multiple launch rocket systems, 909 field artillery units and mortars, as well as 2,033 special military vehicles were also destroyed.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the attacks are not directed at the Ukrainian population or cities, but against the country’s military infrastructure and forces.
