The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said in a statement that since early in April the military killed 18 Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
The NGO condemned the recent decision of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett to remove any restrictions on soldiers on the grounds of combating terrorism.
The politicians in Tel Aviv are responsible for the deaths of Palestinians, especially unarmed women and children who pose no threat to the lives of soldiers, stressed the Monitor, quoted by the official news agency Wafa.
It added that in January five Palestinians were shot dead by soldiers, a figure which rose to six in February and 18 in March. There were also 18 in the first two weeks of April.
The non-governmental organization said that the use of lethal force against civilians is an inevitable result of Israel’s lack of internal reporting and the silence of the international community.
