In the strongest terms, we condemn the crimes committed by the occupying forces in the esplanades of the al-Aqsa Mosque and the desecration of this holy site and their brutal assaults against Palestinian worshipers, stressed a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry.

The text criticized the unlimited US support for Tel Aviv and its practices of aggression, colonization, Judaization, destruction and confiscation of land and property, and clarified that this will in no way change the historical facts and will not make the Palestinians give up their rights.

Israel is a serious threat to regional and international peace and security, and the Palestinian issue will remain the main cause of Syrians and Arabs, the text stated.

The Ministry concluded its statement by praising the strength of the Palestinian people in the face of the escalation of Israeli aggression and affirming unwavering support for the struggle of the Palestinian people.
